Murez Says, If Elected, Will Go After Unsafe Cell Towers


If elected, I will recreate the Cell Tower Committee I created and chaired for many years when I was a member of the VNC LUPC. With an official role in Los Angeles politics, I will go after the issuances of past permits and the placement of Cell Towers where they are clearly a high health risk to humans. The FCC and our blind local government must be stopped to insure our health and the health of the next generation of Americans.

Election Forums Wednesday, Thursday


Forums are next for the candidates. They will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 9 pm at the Westminster Elementary School, 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd. Wednesday will bill all the 46 At-Large Community Officer candidates and the four Community Interest Community Officers. Thursday will have the other offices– President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Officer, Outreach Officer, and Chair of Land Use and Planning Committee.

1, 2 June – Candidate Forums (At-large Community Officers will be on 2nd; all others on 1st.)
5 June – VENICE NEIGHBORHOOD COUNCIL ELECTION, 10 am to 6 pm, Oakwood Recreation Center
8 June – Deadline for provisional voter supporting documentation
10 June – Deadline to request recount or challenge
