You are on the list. It comes out on Mondays. It is not much different than the web stories but it does have comments and the opening photo, which usually has nothing to do with the editorial part. Many of the web stories are corrected, updated, and some removed.
Thank you! I try to follow the site, but I often lose track of time as days roll on through the week, so email reminders will work wonders. You are much appreciated!
Please let us know what we can do to help out and keep these developments from proceeding forward. If you look at Orange County three cities including Irvine just came out in force to reject the county plan to build homeless housing in their neighborhoods. we should do the same.
Your photographs and mockery of the homeless are pretty tasteless. I’m talking about the bench photo (“you might as well be comfortable and there is nothing like a good night’s sleep”) Really ? And the bottle collector photo (“Oh no… his sack broke. Depressing and Disgusting”) where a person is trying to do something/anything to earn some money. Did you get that person’s permission to post his photo ? (I guess to you he’s subhuman). I will make a mental note that when walking in MDR, not to carry any bottles in a bag lest I be photographed and posted to the (thankfully) not widely read TriangleUpdate blog.
I’m sick of the response for the poor homeless blah blah and their rights to sleep and dump anywhere they like. Well, what about the rights of the homeowners? What about our quality of life? You people that defend them do so because it isn’t in your back yard. Ship them all out or better yet you softies for the homeless take them into your homes.
Hello, you may be aware that the county is trying to “destroy” fisherman’s village in order to:
1- turn it into a parking lot; or
2- tear it down to build a non-descript 5 story mixed use that will tripple the traffic WITHOUT widening the streets WITHOUT relocating the Sheriff’s office.
What will that mean? Traffic on Admiralty Way and Lincoln that will paralyze the entire Marina-Venice-Playa region.
What can you do?

Hi, I am a long time Venice resident [Marr St, since 1986] and now commute from out of state. I just found your site and would love to receive updates on the neighborhood. Thank you!
Hi,
I’m on the VNC Neighborhood Committee, representing Milwood – the area just to the north of the Walk Streets – also between Abbot Kinney & Lincoln.
Can I subscribe to the update so that it will land in my emailbox every day?
Yes, I will put your email into the mailing list. It does not come out daily and it has no set time. Usually there are approximately two issues per week.
Kiser Sosa { I will take my chances with Trump. He will punish the liberals of this stats failed polices. }
hylem { Mr Todd Honig, Elon Musk is leaving for TX and financier Jeffrey Gunlach are leaving LA as well citing high taxes and mismanagement of homeless crisis....read it for YOURSELF here. Losing big multi-billion dollar business tycoons is a much bigger threat to LA's tax base and future than losing celebs.... }
Dominy { Jeeeeeze Stew.... Its Dom. You need to check across the street from me. The cops were there already and soon the water and power could get shut off. Sept 19 2020 }
Donald amezquita { Would like to know the the price for these keys because my friend here collects keys. How long would it take to get these keys }
Irene Taylor { Any one has information about Raginah Wells I need to see her }
Jackson { I’ve lived in Venice my entire life. The community doesn’t want this project. We don’t need a hotel. I hate Mike Bonin, but thank god. }
Nicholas Antonicello { Mike Bonin hates Venice and those who are trying to make this community better. The owner of this property has been jumping through bureaucratic hoops for a decade to construct a small and unassuming boutique hotel. There is no justification for this kind of red tape and obstruction by this... }

Reta, would you please add me to your mailing list. I’m a long time Venice resident.
Thank you!
Yes, put you on the list. Thank you.
Hello. I’d like to be on your mailing list. I’m a 20-year Venice resident and like to keep abreast of local happenings. thank you
Absolutely. Will do.
Well, gosh, I don’t really know how to answer you on that. Do you have a specific correction, comment?
In the article boat owners yell “No”, there seems to be a lot of misinformation being spewed. Do you check the facts before posting on the internet?
