My, my. LAHSA doesn’t know where or what homeless housing units are available nor where the individuals are to fill them. Could that be because they are homeless and without addresses. Dugh!

Another reason to fully investigate LAHSA and their annual expenditures of over four hundred million dollars.

More reasons (as if we didn’t have enough already) to make unregulated camping on our streets illegal and enforce the laws. At this moment word is the new patrol around bridge housing is being told by Mike Bonin not to enforce the no camping laws! Thats just criminal! https://www.livescience.com/coronavirus-covid-19-spread-through-feces.html?fbclid=IwAR0lIDXA64OmJ_XV1_fnHtKhCgFS9MpfO5e02BIyIzQ_O8IqGqT6okRVbE0

We hate to say we told you so….Councilmember Mike Bonin’s Promises Broken! 2020 2/28 330PM 3rdAve and Rose More evidence we were right at that famous town hall a year ago last Oct. that the folks on 3rd Ave would not move from their drug and rat infested camp to the MTA Shelter and in fact would increase the size of this encampment on 3rd Ave which is what is happening now in real time. You can see the tents and garbage is now directly on Rose Ave and behind in our alley ways blocking traffic! Mike Bonin is a complete failure to the safety of our neighborhood and should be arrested for his corrupt policies and taxpayers thievery. We need to make him accountable for lack health and safety measures that our community deserves! What the hell ever happen to the $50,000 rat proof trash cans that the Mayor signed off on for 3rd Ave????

From the Mayors FAQ:
“Are residents of A Bridge Home sites required to be sober?
No. Entry to the site is determined by how close someone’s tent is to the site — not whether they’re sober. However, each site will be fully equipped with mental health and anti-addiction specialists who will help new residents start on the path to sobriety.”

“Transitions of Venice.” Here are spectacular historical photos of Venice from the LA City Library. They fade into the contemporary locations. Of current special interest is the LA Pacific Electric Red Car over the Grand Canal at Venice Blvd, which is where the proposed “Monster on the Median” aka Reese-Davidson Community is located.
