Sure would be nice if we could get residents to not set out home goods to discard until pick-up day and to use the City of LA 311 website to request pickup on anything that doesn’t fit in their trash bin. It’s quick and easy to use and many times they will confirm a pick up time in as little as 24 hrs. If it’s something that you think is still useful there is a Goodwill drop-off in the 4000 block of Lincoln Blvd. I’m sure it would decrease the trash and homeless hoarding problem by at least 50 percent.
