Robert, the young man talking, and Josh under the green tent, would love to have this cleaned up. All this, they say, was here when they arrived. If they had a dumpster, they would clean it up.
This encampment is located behind Deux Ex Machina Emporium of Post at the northeast corner of Lincoln and Venice Blvd, 1001 Venice Blvd, Venice. Access is between the Deux and a Thai restaurant on Lincoln.
Robert had it all together until he was hit by a car. Lost his job, wife, and lifestyle. Spoke with him the other day. He needs help. How can we get him in touch with someone to get him off the street. Needs Medical also.
He is a hard worker, just needs a hand to pull himself up>
I sent you an email of how to get help. If you didn’t get it, send me your real email.
With the Typhus out breaks in the city it is best to avoid the Tai restaurant and Deux Ex Machina Emporium till this gets cleaned up. These business are part of the problem allowing by ignoring the problems residents have to suffer with.
Good point. One would think the commercial establishments would definitely be concerned and act accordingly. One would think! Just heard from the SLO Adrian Acosta and Sanitation has been notified, so it is just a matter of time.
Robert is a good guy. I’ve known him for awhile now. He used to live in the neighborhood, good, hard worker, just a little down on his luck.
Robert appeared to be a truly concerned homeless person.
