Bonin is actively trying to destroy Venice. His claims that homeless don’t commit more crime is false. Property crime alone is significantly higher amongst the homeless. He consistently blames residents for being fed up with the crime.
Bonin will likely blame this on the victims. Like rapists who use the excuse that women dress provocatively, he’ll say that people in Venice display too much conspicuous consumption. You should instead live like his beloved bums, lying in your own feces surrounded by stolen bikes. That puts the progress in progressive!
