In May, the CDC reported that vector-borne diseases — such as those contracted from tick, mosquito and flea bites — more than tripled from 2004-2016. Between those years, more than 640,000 cases were reported with nine new germs discovered in the US.

The report suggests that better control of fleas, mosquitoes and ticks is necessary to prevent disease from spreading.

The Truth is Yes thats exactly what is happening. The fact that folks leave all these perishables on the ground next to the homeless encampments attract the opossums and rats to the area thus increasing the odds of many types of diseases Typhus just being one of them. Also the Rats are being feed by the homeless which I have personally seen on 3rd and they have become so tame that they come up to humans now. This is not good and the Rat Feeder trash cans which also feed the opossums that Mike Bonin distributed all along 3rd is adding to the hazards the homeless and residents alike face.

When Venice residents get infected they will have no one to blame but themselves. Elections have consequences. I hope they start selling designer hazmat suits on Abbot Kidney for all the hipsters.
