Dr. Wright To Explain His “Township” Housing Plan for the Homeless, 25 Sept

Venice’s Dr. Kenneth Wright, MD is going to explain his “Township” housing community for the homeless, Tuesday, 25 September, 6:30 pm at the Bible Tabernacle, 1761 Washington Way, Venice.

Dr. Wright is running for the US Congressional 33rd District. As a congressman he plans to work immediately to obtain Ford Ord for a homeless Township community.

The Township will also address the ‘not in my backyard’ issue as it will not be in your backyard. Politicians have to remember, hard working citizens who pay rent and are property owners have rights too. City officials are responsible for keeping the communities safe, sane and clean.

Dr. Wright, MD is an internationally respected pediatric eye surgeon that has experience in caring for the underprivileged and homeless. His practice is in Beverly Hills next to Cedars Sinai hospital. Dr. Wright founded the Wright Foundation, a non-profit 501c (3) that supports a pediatric eye clinic for underprivileged children in Los Angeles. He is also author of numerous medical books and articles.

This is exactly the type of solution that is needed. Help for those who need and want it (or is incapable of making that decision for themselves)…everyone else gets the boot!

Miniature campsite townships with facilities and kitchen on the outskirts of cities away from residential and commercial areas would be perfect and affordable with prop HH funds available and serve all the thousands of homeless not just a few hundred. Homeless do not have the right to choose were they live – they need to go where we have provided for them – thus we need laws that allow police to tell them to move on and go to a legal designated “township” and not sleep and camp and store possessions on public sidewalks.
