Im a 38 year resident of Venice and I am against the MTA Bus Lot or any other place in Venice to be use as a Bridge Shelter. The location is simply to close to our Marine Environment and will cause a catastrophic increase in our beach and water pollution. Venice has taken way more than its fair share of social service corporations being built here. Consequently we also have suffered more than any other districts because of it. When you set camp for a 100 there will be a 100 more wanting those campsites and along with them will be their army of ‘Serial Poopers’ that will terrorize our neighborhood and beach like they have done for years now. Pollution effects everybody and there is no way the City of Los Angeles can put a stop to these ‘Serial Poopers’ except by eliminating the camping near our beach and storm drains.
