Westchester Parade Starts at 11 am

Graffiti tossed after the parade.

There will be dignitaries, unbelievable floats, marching bands, dogs, horses, clowns, antique cars and so on in the Westchester Parade Monday starting at 11 am to 1 pm on Loyola Blvd. “It is a Fourth ‘must see,’” people repeat. “It is big-time stuff, in small-town, charming atmosphere.”

People on the boulevard line their lawns with chairs for residents and visitors and many dress for the occasion with red, white, and blue.

Chamber of Commerce writeup states: “In a large metropolitan city like Los Angeles, true “hometown” events are rare. The LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce states that they present a scene, almost as if it came out of a Norman Rockwell painting–our tribute to America’s birthday, the 17th Annual Fourth of July Parade!”
