ImagineVenice.Org Writes of “P” Solutions

ImagineVenice.Org deals mainly with Abbot Kinney Blvd, which has its own “success-parking” problems.  In the January 17 issue of Imagine Venice, a parking lot on Venice Blvd was proposed to alleviate some of the problems as well as was making the City parking behind Abbot Kinney metered for two hours.  Go to ImagineVenice.org and Archives to find 17 January issue.

This in from Elaine Spierer, who along with Marian Crostic, does the ImagineVenice.org which deals specifically with Abbot Kinney Blvd and its progress and problems:

Everything helps to get the stories out there. Things are changing so fast on the Street; God only knows when we will settle down a bit.  Right now, we are anxious to push the City to do what was already promised, dedicated and funded—finishing all the parking lots and putting meters in place. We need parking spaces to turnover first and foremost.  Then we really need employee parking.  Both of these issues are simple to accomplish just need the will of the City and some caring by the powers that be. We don’t need major earth-changing decisions, just the simple stuff to make our lives much, much better. I don’t think people in Brentwood would be living with this dirt and chaos.
