In the current copy of CityWatchLA I was very disappointed to read that private emails about a project in Brentwood indicate that our city councilmember was not truthful with city residents about the project. This had to do with the size of a school. Please read the article yourself. http://citywatchla.com/index.php/the-la-beat/11014-judge-rules-city-of-la-can-no-longer-keep-archer-girls-school-emails-secret

CityWatchLA publishes once or twice a week with news from City Halland is certainly informative about doings downtown that can be uncovered when complainants go to court.

Be sure to read comments on Mass, Scale, Character Buzzsaw and AirBnB Mobile. The comments regarding AirBnB mobile certainly offer a solution. That block could and should have the “no oversize whatever vehicle” that applies to motorhomes in front of those businesses. As one commenter said “one week of bad business” … . Thanks for the comments.

Thank you Sue for listening! You and your committee seem to be concerned with a fair outcome for everyone and I appreciate that! Have you reached out to any of the other populous small towns along the coast to see what their standards are for smaller lots?

  2. The Mass Scale & Character committee has had an amazing response to our draft. We thank you all who have taken the time to respond. The comments have been thoughtful and full of good suggestions and advice. Our work begins anew. We will be studying everyone of them with full consideration and due diligence.

I just want to remind everyone that tonight we have another Public Comment period (in addition to the usual time) for responses to the report at our regular meeting, from 8:30 – 9:00 pm at the Vera Davis Center.

Public Comment closes tomorrow but if you would still like to submit something after tomorrow, please email me and let me know. And we have public comment at every meeting and all are invited to join us then. Monday evening, 7:30 – 9:00 pm at the Vera Davis Center. But please confirm on our webpage.
