Who will occupy the Westminster Senior Center at Westminster and Pacific is still unknown. Both Robert Davis, superintendent for Venice Beach, and Debbie Dyner-Harris, district director for Councilman Mike Bonin were queried as to whether a decision had been made.
Debbie Dyner-Harris wrote:
There are several thoughts for the Center at this point, but as I have told everyone, until we know what will happen with homeless support services and whether or not we’ll be using it for something related to that, we just don’t know what will happen at the facility. Everyone wants the building- homeless support services, rangers, offices, historic displays, etc. We are not there yet, though.

In response to your request for information on intended uses of the Westminster SCC, the Department of Recreation and Parks has not settled on any particular use of the building at the site but will continue to explore various considerations including its use as a park ranger station. We sincerely appreciate your interest in the future of the facility and your concern for the neighborhood.
We will always strive to be good neighbors and look forward to working with our community members now and in the future.
