We have had “Arches to Return, Arches to Return–Part Two” and now Arches to Return Again because of additional information provided by Regan Kibbee. It is obvious that Venetians are concerned about the “look on Windward–the Arches.” This is input from Regan Kibbee.

Thank you Betsy Goldman for providing proof the arches should have been replaced!
My husband & I were so disappointed the new building the Graham-Hustons constructed at the site didn’t even offer the slightest architectural reference to the historic arches — something that has been done so creatively with modern architecture elsewhere.
Several years later, I had the chance to ask our neighbor, Steven Graham, Bob’s son and apparently the architect for the project, about this. In reply to my query, Steven assured me he had referenced the arches.
“How?” I asked, a bit confused. He responded that the pop-out on the second story was his reference to the arches.
Really, that large vertical mass of corrugated steel overhanging the sidewalk? (Say, what?!)
